Blinds & Shades in Minneapolis: what to know
Cellular and insulating shades are popular across the Twin Cities because they cut drafts from older windows during long, sub-zero winters and block heat on summer afternoons. Original window frames in Uptown and Northeast are often out of square or plaster-cased, so precise measuring and solid anchoring matter for blinds and shutters. Motorized shades suit tall or hard-to-reach windows and typically just need a nearby outlet or low-voltage wiring.
