Blinds & Shades in Portland: what to know
Low winter light makes Portland homeowners favor light-filtering shades that keep rooms bright while adding privacy, especially on close-set Alberta Arts and Sellwood streets. Cellular shades help hold heat in drafty older homes, and motorized shades suit tall living-room windows in Lake Oswego. Original Craftsman trim and odd window sizes often call for custom measuring before anything is ordered.
